Engine Testing

  • Engine Development:
    EControls has 8 fully equipped dynamometer bays with both absorption and transient dynamometers with capacities up to 500hp.  This capability gives EControls the ability to quickly create custom engine calibrations, meeting our customers’ requirements.

  • Emissions Testing:
    Complete emissions testing capability exists within EControls due to multiple dynamometer bays having dilution tunnels for emission monitoring and reporting.
  • Durability Testing:
    Long term dynamometer emission durability testing is conducted at EControls, but given our knowledge base and history many times we are able to obtain certification with abbreviated testing schedules.
