Electronic Hardware Design
EControls designs and qualifies its own hardened electronic engine control
hardware. As those in the heavy-duty and light-duty on-highway market know,
this is not a typical electronic design exercise. EControls internal
electrical qualification standards meet or exceed almost every customers
standards in this market and meet or exceed many military standards.

EControls electronic hardware includes all of the latest design features,

- 32-bit high-speed microprocessors with DSP (digital signal processing)
functionality
- Field reprogrammability utilizing flash memory
- Reconfigurable adaptive speed input circuits for magnetic pickups,
Hall effect sensors,
- Fully-protected high-current drive-by-wire electronic throttle control
interfaces with redundant failure mode management
- Fully-protected digital peak-and-hold fuel injector drivers
including low and high-voltage capability for port, throttle-body, or
diesel injectors
